holaaa!
i'm ev (evelien), and at 5'...well...let's say '3, i am the shortest member of the hoj and never hear the end of it. height is a bit of a sensitive topic when you're from a tall, dutch family and under 5'8...but anyway...i suppose i should tell a bit more about myself.
i have this thing about capital letters. i hate them. i'm not sure why, but i do. that being said, for the sake of this blog i'll probably resign myself to using the occasional capital, though it will be tough.
i have the worst luck ever. it's nothing to feel sorry about, it just is what it is. if there is something that can go wrong around me, it does. whether it involves getting a concussion from a flying soccer ball or being trampled by a horse, if it can happen to me it will.
i might be slightly OCD and a bit of a perfectionist. might.
i place joshua radin welllll ahead of brad pitt when it comes to giving girls unrealistic expectations about men.
i have a tendency to throw pasta. a lot.
growing up, while all my friends read books about princesses and giant red dogs, i was stuck reading "children's" stories with sigmund freud, aristotle, and other philosophical people. i think this is important to remember when reading my posts.
i pretty much belong in an alternate universe, whether it be middle earth, hogwarts or narnia.
i live for tea, cough syrup, winter mornings, summer storms, jane austen (still waiting on that mr. darcy...), and - of course - the hoj.
